Our office is fully staffed with family and long-term, experienced personnel. Because we are a family-owned and operated business you can be assured of our commitment to delivering the best property management in the business.  

Many companies are inefficient and have layers of team members.  You can often spot these inefficient companies by the length of their "For Rent" list.  We have a back office staff to handle the accounting/daily task work.  But most importantly, it is our family members and licensed property managers who directly handle the marketing and management of the properties.  We are efficient and we "get the job done" quickly filling vacancies from waiting lists of potential tenants - rather than having your property sit on a long  "For Rent" list for weeks not drawing any income to you, the owner.  

Al Watson - Broker / Founder / Property Manager

Al Watson entered the field of property management in 1972.  He founded our parent company "Watson Realty" in 1980.  Al began adding the slogan "Rentals We Got 'Em" to our company's advertisements as early as 1980.  This catchy slogan caught the public eye - got units quickly rented, and was long remembered by people seeing it.  In 2006 Al officially added Rentals We Got 'Em as our company's trademark.  

Al Watson continues actively leading our company as Chief Executive Officer.  He received the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation in 1975 and a CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1978.  

He has been published in the Journal of Property Management.  He has both written a course and taught property management for the California Department of Real Estate for their continuing education program.  

Over the course of 35+ years, Al Watson has managed thousands of properties.  He has the extensive knowledge/expertise it takes to provide outstanding professional property management.  Often attorneys and other real estate agents/property management companies call Al and turn to him for advice; as he is well known for his expertise in the property management field.  

Al has been serving the local community he does business in since 1972.  He is a Charter Member of the Rancho Bernardo Chamber of Commerce.  He has been a Rotarian since 1976 and has served in the past as President of the RB Sunrise Rotary Club.

Most importantly, Al Watson has become known to all who meet him and/or do business with him as a person of high integrity, character, understanding, and compassion.  

Carolyn "Scooter" Watson - Real Estate Agent / Property Manager

Carolyn has worked in upper management for 32 years. Before joining her husband, Al Watson, as a Property Manager for Watson Realty Inc; Carolyn was a Branch Manager for many years with a major financial institution. Many of the teams/branches she managed received high recognition for achievements in both customer service and sales. Besides her management experience, Carolyn was both a real estate loan underwriter and loan officer. She has extensive experience/knowledge in real estate lending/underwriting. Carolyn is a licensed California Real Estate Agent.

 

Lisa Hernandez - Back Office Manager / Tenant Liaison Officer

Lisa has been with our company since 1990.  Prior to working for Rentals We Got 'Em, Lisa was an "On-Site Apartment Manager" in the State of Texas for 12 years.  She managed up to 228 apartment units and is well versed in all aspects of property management.  Lisa brings many years of experience to our staff.  She manages our Back Office/Accounting Department and assists tenants as our Tenant Liaison Officer.  While Lisa is more than capable of handling all aspects of our business, her main focus is handling the daily operations of our office and assisting tenants with questions and repair requests.  Her efficiency frees up our agents time so that they can focus on getting properties rented and making sure your property is well maintained.
